Gastronomic Restaurant in Buxy, in Burgundy

Camille DUMONT and Julien MERCIER welcome you since February 2018 in their gastronomic restaurant L'Empreinte in Buxy,
near Chalon-sur-Saône in Burgundy (71).

WHO ARE WE ?

Julien MERCIER

Originally from Burgundy, Julien began his passion for cooking in a hotel school and then continued his apprenticeship, notably at the Maison Lameloise restaurant.

After his apprenticeship, Julien worked in different starred restaurants.

Camille DUMONT

Originally from Auvergne and from a family of hoteliers and restaurateurs, it is natural that Julien chose to go to a hotel school.

After various experiences in starred restaurants, it is today in Burgundy that Julien decided to put down his suitcases.

TBoth very attached to the Burgundy region, it is therefore in Buxy that they decide to open their gourmet restaurant L'Empreinte. Located in the historic setting of the Red Tower of Buxy, Restaurant L'Empreinte offers a gastronomic cooking from fresh products and realized with modernism and refinement.

THE TOUR ROUGE IN BUXY

Classified building, ancestral and historic Buxy dating from the twelfth century, The Tour Rouge is a remnant of the ancient walls delimiting the medieval Buxy Châtel.

The historic setting continues beyond the walls of Restaurant L'Empreinte. You will be able to admire in the courtyard of the Restaurant the oldest tree of Buxy, a mulberry tree planted in 1789.

Your Restaurant L’Empreinte has :

a large dining room that can accommodate from 35 to 40 people maximum
a private lounge in the Tower for up to 10 people
a terrace

You have the possibility to organize your group meals for all types of events at Restaurant L'Empreinte. The Chef will prepare for you and with you a menu adapted to your desires and your budget.
